Zinnia - Special Surprise Mix

Zinnia - Special Surprise Mix

Half hardy annual.

Sow: March-April Flowers: June-September.

Height: 100cm. Spacing: 30cm.

Seeds have been harvested from Floret Flower zinnia parent plants grown in polytunnels. Please note - the colours will be a surprise to both us and you. We hope you'll receive a beautiful mix of peaches, whites, oranges and pastel colours, with different petal forms and shapes.

Best sown in spring under cover or direct once the risk of frost has passed. Sow thinly, cover lightly with compost and keep moist. Plant in full sun. For an increased chance of double blooms, it is recommended to avoid transplant shock ie. plant out when small or direct sow. Zinnias are very easy to propagate through cuttings. Take a stem from the plant and place in water for 2 weeks until it roots. Replant in soil and keep well watered until established.

Keep picking for continuous blooms. For the best vase life, cut flowers once the stems have stiffened up.

Seeds harvested from plants grown on our flower farm without chemicals in Surrey.
